SunGrid Labs designs and installs rooftop solar systems, smart home automation and CCTV security — one accountable team for your whole home, serving homes across Kerala.

Most homes end up juggling separate contractors for solar, wiring, smart devices and cameras. We handle all three — designed together, installed together, supported together.
On-grid rooftop systems engineered for Kerala roofs and Kerala weather.
Retrofit smart control for lights, fans, irrigation and perimeter security — no rewiring needed.
Camera systems you can actually check from your phone, anywhere.
Most local installers default to whichever panel is cheapest to fit. We source from multiple leading manufacturers — standard Mono PERC/TOPCon panels from makers like Waaree, Adani Solar, Tata Power Solar and Vikram Solar, plus premium HJT modules now made in India by Reliance and Waaree — and lay them out side by side so the choice is yours.
Waaree, Adani Solar, Tata Power Solar, Vikram Solar and similar — India's established manufacturers. Proven, widely available, lower upfront cost.
Newer high-efficiency technology, now manufactured in India — Reliance ships BIS-certified HJT modules from its Jamnagar plant, and Waaree has added HJT lines (dual-glass, up to ~23.5% efficiency) alongside its existing PERC/TOPCon capacity.
We install both. Your free site survey includes a plain-language walkthrough of which one makes sense for your roof, budget and how long you plan to own the home — no pressure either way.
The central government subsidy makes rooftop solar dramatically cheaper, but the application, vendor registration and net-metering process confuses most homeowners. We manage the entire process end to end.
₹78,000 is the maximum central subsidy — it does not increase for systems larger than 3 kW (e.g. a 5 kW or 10 kW system still gets ₹78,000, with the rest self-funded or via a PM Surya Ghar loan). Amounts are set by MNRE and subject to government revision; the scheme's current implementation window closes 31 March 2027. We'll confirm your exact eligibility during the free survey.
Most "smart home" installers stop at a voice-controlled bulb. We treat automation as four connected systems — lighting, irrigation, perimeter security and monitoring — all reachable from one app, all fitted without rewiring your home.
Every switchboard becomes controllable without tearing open a wall.
A soil-moisture sensor decides when your lawn actually needs water.
Built for Kerala homes with compound walls — a verified alert when someone enters the property at night, well before they reach the door, without false alarms from stray animals or branches.
Every system you install with us reports to a single dashboard.
We visit, measure your roof, check shading and study your electricity bill.
You get a system design and a transparent, itemised quote. No hidden costs.
We file your PM Surya Ghar application and handle KSEB approvals.
Structure, panels, inverter and wiring installed by our trained crew.
Meter installation and grid connection coordinated with KSEB.
Performance monitoring, panel cleaning and AMC plans that keep output high.
We're Kerala-based, not a call centre. When you call, someone who can actually visit your home answers.
Itemised quotes with brand names and warranties spelled out — compare us with anyone.
Systematically trained installers — not day-labour subcontracting. Clean work, safe wiring, tidy finish.
AMC plans, panel cleaning and rapid support. A solar system is a 25-to-30-year asset — we stick around for it.
Up to ₹78,000 for residential systems — ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, plus ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW. The subsidy is capped at ₹78,000 and doesn't increase for systems larger than 3 kW. The scheme's current implementation window closes 31 March 2027.
There's no fixed minimum, but the subsidy math changes at 1 kW, 2 kW and 3 kW. We size your system to your roof and electricity bill during the free survey, then show you exactly where it lands on the subsidy slab.
Standard panels (Mono PERC / TOPCon) cost less upfront, are what most local installers fit by default, and typically carry a 25-year performance warranty. HJT panels — now manufactured in India by Reliance and Waaree — run about 10% higher efficiency, degrade more slowly, and carry a 30-year linear power warranty (Reliance guarantees at least 90.3% output at year 30), for a 12 to 18% higher upfront cost. We explain both during your survey; which one makes sense depends on your roof space and how long you plan to stay in the home.
Yes. All three services are independent — book a survey for just automation, just CCTV, or any combination.
We install state-wide across Kerala. Get in touch and we'll confirm coverage for your location.
Once your subsidy application and KSEB approvals are through, physical installation typically takes 1 to 2 days. The paperwork and approval process is usually the longer part — which is what we manage for you.
